Tetra Laval

School Feeding Handbook

Overview

For more than 60 years, Tetra Laval, the parent group of Tetra Pak, Sidel and DeLaval, has been supporting school feeding and nutrition programmes around the world. Last year alone, its Food for Development (FfD) team worked with customers, governments, development agencies, funding organisations and NGOs to ensure that 64 million children in 45 countries received milk or other nutritious beverages in Tetra Pak packages, despite the challenges of the pandemic.

In 2021, FfD decided to capture its knowledge of the implementation and outcomes of school feeding programmes in a practical handbook. Working closely with the team in Stockholm, we developed an approach and structure that clearly explains both the why and how of school feeding, from establishing a business case through delivery to effective measurement. We generated and polished content, combining clear step-by step advice with inspiring and informative case studies, and created a design that is easily navigable and engaging. The result is a powerful tool that is now being used to deliver new programmes to benefit school children around the world.

“Sunny Creative worked alongside us on this complex project from start to finish, providing great ideas and guidance at every stage. The Handbook successfully brings together many years of knowledge and expertise, presenting it in a way that is clear, engaging and easy to navigate. It is already proving to be a hugely valuable resource for our customers, colleagues and partners around the world.”
