LSBU

South Bank magazine

Overview

Originally established in 1892, LSBU prides itself on its inclusive ethos and its commitment to breaking down barriers and opening up opportunities to everyone with the potential to succeed. In 2017, we gave the university’s alumni magazine South Bank a total revamp, creating a fresh visual identity and establishing a new editorial direction. We went on to manage the project, including art direction and content creation, and commissioning photographers and illustrators to bring stories to life. The refreshed magazine exemplified the energy and dynamism of LSBU, shining a light on how the university and its alumni community are engaging with and addressing real-life issues as diverse as neurodiversity in the workplace, sustainable building, patient engagement, counter-terrorism and mindfulness.

“I know I can trust Sunny to handle whatever I throw at them. Their understanding of reader experience and the relationship between design and content is second to none. They deliver true creative leadership and a level of engagement that means they get the absolute best from their contributors. The insights and reflection they offer go way beyond a traditional contractor/supplier relationship, making for a fantastic partnership.”
